Are you referring to DL27L0D182194 ? That would be my bet as well, as that car has moved from Ohio to California. Details match AFAICT, and indeed some of the photos are from the time when this 'vert was for sale in Ohio.

Curious why you say someone will be disappointed?
Click on Ayilar's link on post #4. Go through the past threads on this car and you will understand what the issues are on this specific car. There is a lot to read but it will explain itself. You might be amazed at the knowledge of these folks on this forum, I know I always impressed and value these guys opinions greatly on a daily basis.

So this was my husband's. If you have questions, I'd be happy to answer to the best of my ability.

Welcome to the forum. I am sorry for your loss, and wish you the best with the sale. The folks here are knowledgeable and can be pretty harsh in their judgements, but now that they know a (new) member is the seller I am hopeful that they will behave like gentlemen.

PS: I see that your FK5 Polara convertible is also listed on Craigslist, and there are more photos there Here they are for records:

Thank you, Ayilar. Yes, I was trying to parse out some of the comments like why someone would be disappointed in buying this car. My husband was a master ASE mechanic and very knowledgeable. He also had been watching this car for quite a while and bought it from the person who listed it here in California back in 2020. It isn't showroom quality and definitely can use some love but it is solid. Again, I'd be happy to answer any questions that anybody might have. I do also have a picture of the fender tag which I ran in a decoder last night. Not a lot of information came up except it did say white convertible top which it has.

@Olderthan1970, welcome to the forum. Sorry for your loss. We've lost some good members here recently as well. Good luck with the sale.

Other than a few cosmetic bits it looks like a solid purchase at $15k. I've looked through all the pics and other than the obvious nits with the repaint and snaps on the boot rail, I don't see any issues with the quarters, but of course an in person visual might reveal more. FWIW, you couldn't get a car to look like this for less than $15k and you'd have to do all the work yourself. Sounds like it wouldn't take much and you'd be cruising to local meets and having some fun in no time.

Would love to get a current photo of the tag. Here's the decode I have made from a prior listing that had an older photo of the tag:
