11 mpg!!!

I put over 1000 miles on my rebuilt motor this summer so I figured I would consider that broke in. I calculated mpg and was blow away when it figure out to 11 mpg. Stock 383 with edelbrock 600 with 3.23s and driven hard. No highway miles. I was ecstatic, just as good as my ram.

Tilly gets 11 mpg in town, 14 on the highway when the moon is in the right orbital cycle, etc and my carb isn't leaking much. Lately, it has, so I'm planning to replace it, then rebuild it. Mind you, my 383 runs just a little Stromberg 350 CFM 2 barrel and my reatr end runs tall on 2:76 gears, so she was always an economy model.
