Anyone running nitrous on their stroker? I think i am going to add a 150 shot to my 505/512 stroker. Can you run the nitrous outlet stinger wet plate on an unmodified performer RPM manifold? I am very hood clearance limited.

Holly crap! Big heavy car that is already quick and add 150hp NOS ,,what's the next weak link?
Ohhhh man power corrupts,,love it. Love your car by the way.

Do not think nitrous is a good idea unless you installed forged pistons, corrodes everything. You also have to be very careful with timing and advance settings as nitrous requires some special settings. Also should have a forged steel stroker crank and high tensile steel rods. Used to see lots of engine parts on the track with folks who got carried away with nitrous. Small block Chev engines with iron shafts did some really spectacular detonations of the whole lower end.

Also, at the very least, you will want to have a main web girdle to firm up the the lower end and prevent main line flexing. A broken main cap on balls out acceleration can ruin your whole day..

Got all those forged goodies already.

I looked at a pic of the RPM manifold and the divider is open so I don't see any problem with running a plate. Start small and work up to the 150 shot. Have fun:)

This is what I am worried about with the manifold, I am not sure the divider is cut out deep enough.

Pull 2* of base timing out of it, make sure the ignition is really strong and accurate and the fuel system can maintain the pressure and flow with the fuel solenoid open (free flow the plate) and run the snot out of it.

Edit - I didn't see the plate. Id run a 2bar plate on it. That won't work with a dual plane well. It's meant for a wide open plenum.
