It's a 7" wide, yes I measured.
It is straight, I spun it on my balancer.
The chrome is good where it is visible.
You will want to redo the silver in the middle, and probably the black.
Rust is not the "have to blast" kind. Bead is clean, and a little hand work on the exposed rim will do.
(I love reconditioning rims)

I've been told deluxe 1/2 ton dodge trucks used this wheel in a true 7" width. No parts books to confirm or deny the truth of this stated application. '78- '79 Magnum XE's supposedly used this wheel in a 7" width but it was not chrome anywhere.

Check the "Library" section at www.hamtramck-historical.com for the dealer order guides. Only the 1979 Magnum book lists anything like that wheel, but not that wheel. Perhaps it was behind the W28 Aluminum Fascia, which I believe was listed as 15x7?

Any "upscale" Dodge pickups, back then, were about: chrome grilles and bumpers, added exterior moldings, two-tone paint, wheel covers, and fancy interiors (some including leather!). Styled wheels kind of diminished the rough and sturdy character of the Dodge Ram pickups, back then.

NOW, not to say that a customer or regional dealer group might have wrangled some new trucks with those wheels, but not as a regular option, per se.

When Chrysler mentioned "Extra-Wide Based Wheels", that meant 6.5" widths, not 7" wide. But then the Magnums with the GT package had the 15x7 wheels as a part of that package.

For 1978, the W23 option code was the alloy wheels that came on the Cordoba 300s, which were more like 15x5.5 wheels (which surprised me) as I would have suspected 15x6 with the G60-15 tires.

Back in the day, (1980) I had a set of 15x6.5 full alloy take offs. No one wanted them, they were kinda cool, so I held on to them as long as I could. Finally sold them at a swap meet for $100.
This wheel, is just like the 70-75 15×6, but wider. Any sale is getting killed by shipping costs, which is too bad.
