The simple, yet bold, colors used in the 50's are one of the things that make these cars so attractive. A lot went into the study and development of coordinating exterior and interior colors when demographics showed that women played a large role in car selection based on that.

All that is lost when one of these examples is restored using modern/updated colors and muted custom interiors. It just doesn't work.
