1959 Chrysler Desoto · Firesweep
Older restoration needs refreshed or enjoy it as is. Paint bubbling here and there and interior is showing wear (see pics). Engine is a 383 V8 from a 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner bolted to a 727 Torqueflite auto trans. Runs and drives excellent! I installed cruise control which works nicely. Mileage is unknown. I replaced the speedo shortly after I purchased it. Driven 7400 miles since then. Rare ceiling mounted rear a/c unit. Has the rear facing seat in the way back. All rear seats fold flat. A/c not working and will need to be serviced. Power steering pump recently rebuilt and hoses replaced. Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor rebuilt about a year ago. New air shocks in the rear in 2021.
