I purchased this car in 2011 and had it shipped from Texas to Florida. At that time I rebuilt the carb, put shocks on it, tuned it up with plugs, wires, cap, rotor. I installed new carpet, and a muffler and drove the car for about a year. I might have put 1200 miles on or so. Then I lost storage, and it stayed at a friends shop until late 2016, when I brought it to my house, since i now had a place for it.
It needed to be gone over again, so I decided to pull the engine to re-gasket it and make it look pretty. At this point my motto became " there is no easier time to do ( insert task here) than right now". So, the engine got rebuilt, the transmission got rebuilt, the cooling system rebuilt, the brake system got rebuilt, the gas tank professionally cleaned and sealed, the carburetor sent to National Carburetor and remanufactured......
I have got somewhere between 250 and 300 miles on the car since the rebuild.
All options work including the dual air conditioning. The rim-blow switch is soft and supple, but someone moved the horn to a button on the dash. This wagon has a fresh alignment and new Nexen 235/75/15 white wall tires as well.
The car has a couple small rust spots on the bottom of the spare tire well, but very small. Some surface rust over the long windows, but its virtually rust free. I have all mouldings for this car, no looking for parts. I have a roll of 3M Dinoc for the car, extra carpet to replace the load deck carpeting, and a headliner from SMS with NOS material.
The paint is mostly original, it appears that the driver's front fender was replaced at some point, and painted to match.
There is too much new stuff on this car to list it all. Interested parties can PM me and we can go over it in detail. Trades possible for long bed pickup.
Looking for $8000 or best offer.
