I agree....once you get the doors open it would be great to see interior pictures and the trunk. I'm still amazed at all the cars you find. Great job!!

I was surprised its as good as shape as it is with how deep it was. Looked like a flood of mud went through

Looks great, it is straight, good save.

How about the 57 Chrysler product next to it.

Excellent save.

Looks like it was partially buried in horse dung too (around the rear).

What's up with the DeSoto that was deeper in that thicket?

After I retired from my business, I worked for Lexus. If a car had the keys locked in it, they had a little air bag that you would put between the windows after prying open a little with a hard plastic bar. The bag would pump up and separate the window enough to open the door. I doubt it would work in this case, but I have seen people brake windows needlessly. That 60 Plymouth looks like it could be restored.

I knew there was something heavy in trunk the way the leafs were sagging.
Got the trunk open!!!!!!
The bad news is there was about 400lbs of dirt in trunk.
It was a ant hill colony…………
I was able to remove rusted gas tank through trunk floor!!!!! There were a few Johnny cash 8 tracks

Yikes!
Frame looks like it might be OK. Is it?

In addition to the 8 tracks, looks like there's "knock-off" style center caps for vintage Appliance Mags.
Is there a complete set of 4 ?
If they clean up could be a bonus find !

Jeeezuz.....

Shows how the car can bury itself from the inside out.

I'd be curious to see how much of the frame rails are left after the rust is removed. Even if "intact", their metal thickness is probably significantly reduced.....

My theory is that the ants slowly moved dirt from under car and filled trunk to make colony. The top of gas tank was rusted away and filled with dirt also.
They were fairly sizable ants.

The spring hangers with not much support are trying to push through floor with all that dirt weight for so long
