Well, these year cars are pretty much past their sell date as most that drove them back then are at the one foot in the grave stage of life if not knocking on heavens door.

I took my driving test in a 8 year old 1963 Rambler 4 cyl with 3 speed onna the 'Tree".
Don't need to go there again, IMHO.

But then there are the *NEW* Hipster generation that is suppose to appear soon (I guess).

Funny one of my first rides with a friend that had just built a nice 1947 Knucklehead chopper similar to yours, we get pulled over by a Trooper on the highway, wasn't interested in my friends chopper but my brand new 1974 XLCH, said he bought one and it was stolen the first day he owned it so he made a point to pull over any Sportster he saw. dick...

Me I prefer the 'Ready to Ride' Harley's.

I'm not. It is not unusual for many a car to get no bids when the starting bid is high which this is. Like I once said I know someone who starts his cars under $1000 and they routinely hit over $15K at the end which is better than expected. Fine line between getting the ball rolling and being stuck in park.

Mine started life as a 57 Pan. No sissy electric start either. My skinny butt made several trips over the handle bars. Those boots helped protect my shins... A little.
I got pulled over one time on that bike. The officer just wanted to look at it. He got down and looked right at the brake less front hub, I was sweating that, but nothing was said. Just thanks, have a nice day.
