I called on it, I'm very interested in this! The 318 is stuck. I just think the '62 was such an ugly car, and that makes it cool as can be, in my eye. We'll see what happens! My thought would be to hit a local cruise night, dressed like Culpepper with his fedora, and a rotating beacon on the dash. Fun times!

Plus I can get a free, running '65 318A that a buddy just pulled.

Please hurry and save me a 1,200 mile round trip!
I've got a 65 Poly sitting here in my way...If I've got to lift it, it might as well go into this Dart!

The poly 318 is a great stroker foundation. The heads work great with the smallish bore (canted valves), better than stroking a LA318, more practical than switching to 360 not to mention incorrect look of that.
I would redo the engine that's in it. Pull the heads clean the surface rust, whack it a few times it would probably free up and spin. Clean it up, throw the heads back on and drive, drive, drive.
