Ross, modern or old school Hemi?
I've begged and begged him for a selling price but he says it's going to the grand kids. Arghhh
Modern of course. I'd want it to go fast. ;)Ross, modern or old school Hemi?
You nailed it on the head. Can't see his grand kids digging that one....no how, no wAY
That will be a "in the right place at the right time" for someone
Grandkids will look at that car.... say eeeuuuuu..... and flip it cheap.

A guy I know down here (comes to my car shows) has a '62 Savoy 2 dr. sedan with a 4 speed. I've begged and begged him for a selling price but he says it's going to the grand kids. Arghhh
He obviously hasn't learned the rules of the hobby yet.I am not willing to spend near what he is asking, and he is asking for what he has into it.

So contact the woman and tell her how unreasonable he's being about selling the car...low blow but might get him down on the price...http://www.bismanonline.com/1962_dodge_polara_500
I actually know this guy really well. I would love to take on this project.....just too bad he has his head in the clouds with his price. (In my opinion he does anyways). This car is super solid. He did a '66 coronet that turned out stunning. I think I know why he is giving up on this car and it has nothing to do with the car.....more to do with a woman. What would you think a more reasonable price would be? The car is solid.
I wonder how many guys who want to do a Max Wedge really know what a Max Wedge is.
