I have a 1963 Chrysler Newport Wagon in running condition. This wagon is in good mechanical condition. It was my daily driver for several months, until I got a more economical car. 361 rebuilt engine with about 7k, rebuilt 4 barrel carburator, electronic fuel pump, 727 rebuilt push button automatic transmissio with about 4k, A/C, new dual exhaust, custom 1 pice drive shaft, new electronic distributor ignition conversion, new starter, new alternator and volttage regulator, new spark plugs and wires, new oil change and oil filter, new brake job front and back, new master cylinder and booster, some components of the front suspension were rebuilt, rear air shocks, power brakes, power steering, electric rear window. Nice roof rack. I Just had all body work done and sits in primer. All windows roll up and down. Very close to be ready for paint. Most of all the the work and rebuilding of this wagon was done by the previous owner. I have receipts dating back to 1978. I have almost all the recipts for all the new and rebuilt parts.

This wagon runs, drives, stops and shifts fine. Drive it anywhere. All lights work and doors lock. All the major and expensive things to do on it has been done. All it needs paint and interior redone. Comes with a box full of extra parts. Would look good as a hot rod, lowrider or just stock. Not far from being a beautiful classic wagon.

Things that need work: carb needs some tuning, speedometer dont work, ignition switch works, but wont engage the last click to start, so I use a trigger switch, rear tail gate won't open, heater not working, doors need some alignment, has some rust on front floor panels, so needs patch panels. These are just minor things that don't require much work.

I'm asking $3000 or best offer. Need to sell asap. Serious calls only! Not trades. Call 209-495-4921 wagon located in Modesto Ca

Another one that looked better in the "before" pic, seems it got primered afterwards and then progress stopped.

Kool wagon. I'd go have a look if it were in my area.

Flat-blacked the crap out of under the hood. For three grand, it seems like a decent-enough deal.

Every square inch covered in Zeibart.
It's useless. Leave it be and show everyone how good Zeibart works...

Stan, do you have another Thermo Guard battery cover? I'll trade you for a dual snorkel filter housing.Bloom-20130311-00484 (1).jpgBloom-20130311-00485.jpg

I wish I did. I only have come across one other and it was in a car that my friend Lance scoffed before i could get it. He sold it to someone in Germany.
The one in my car is the one that came in the car from the factory.

Did paint it black and red? I've only ever seen them white/clear.

Mine was very yellowed. Enough that it bothered me.
Yep. Walmart Satin black. Not correct but an improvement none the less.
Matched the Zeibart nicely..........

I've decided not to put a Thermoguard cover on my NYB. I want to be able to see the Mopar insignia on the top of the battery when I renovate the inner fender wells and battery tray and hold down.

Gazillions of them were tossed at the first battery change and obviously didn't become a problem.
I'd toss mine too, but I like it when everybody says wow you still have the battery cover??? LMAO.

Unless I had an uber rare one with a cold air intake...
