I was wondering if this is a retractable hardtop?????? Read the ad!!

In the early days of two-door hardtop production, those cars were often referred to - by some manufacturers - as "hardtop convertibles." I guess it was because they had most of the benefits of a convertible, without the hassles associated with a soft convertible top. The guy who wrote the ad is probably older than Stan. . .

Wow! That's pretty old.

My late dad used to call them hard top convertibles, too. Not saying he was the car expert but I think it's they some of these used to be referred to.

That's a fine looking car!
