Posting this up for a 75 yr old guy who is selling a collection of cars, one of which I was interested in and wanted to help him out reaching a wider audience. I have no idea the worth of the cars but he has them all garaged and they seem well looked after. The location is VA and his email is oscar.oldsmobile@gmail.com

Described as follows

The 64 convertible is listed in # 3 condition as $42,700 in the Old Cars Price Guide. I have advertised it for $35,000 but am totally negotiable on that. The car has full power equipment and AC. It is white with a black top and white leather interior and has 60K miles. It has a new steering box. Runs and drives well.

His friend/neighbour is selling a 55 Imperial Coupe which needs some fixing up but looks pretty good, he did not know a price or mileage but had a couple of pics so adding this in if it suits somebody else. Love the interior !

David seems a lovely genuine guy so hope his cars go to good homes.

Very nice cars!

That Adjustable Steering Wheel on the ‘64 is spectacular. It must be a recast. The dash pad looks perfect too, also likely a redo. This owner wasn’t afraid to spend $$$ keeping it up.
Nice color combo (though I would do a white top)
Wonder if he has the boots?

got this email back today on the '55 Imperial

Regarding your inquiries (forwarded to me by David Albee) concerning my 1955 Imperial Newport 2-door hardtop, the Hagerty Classic car evaluations are $35,300 for condition #3 (good) and $17,600 for condition #4 (fair). I guess I would call my car a #4 plus, so I am asking $20,000 or best offer above that. It has about 110,000 miles on it and very little rust. It is coral red with matching red and black interior. The back seat and back interior are in almost new condition, but cloth inserts in front seat (4 way power seat) are worn through. The car needs a good waxing and eventually a paint job. Chrome is in fair condition and I have good rear bumper pods that I have not installed to replace the rusty ones on the car now.The car runs, but needs tune up and brake work (I have rubber diaphragm replacement kit for power brake unit). The body has one dent. The following have been rebuilt: generator/power steering unit, starter motor, transmission, gas tank. Heater core has failed, so I have bypassed it, but have a new one which I have not installed. Left rear power window is inoperative, but is in closed position. Is not equipped with air conditioning, but has the optional Kelsey Hays wire wheels which are in good condition. I purchased it in 1984 in Rapid City , South Dakota from original owner. I have Virginia title to it and live in Arlington, Virginia, but car is located in second home in Luray, Virginia. Was garaged most of its life, but has lived under a California Car Cover outside in driveway for last 7 years. I drive it around the block about once a month. Nick Anderson (arycanda@aol.com)
