So I have a 1965 Chrysler 300L Convertible with a factory 4 speed that I'm selling. Tomorrow its going to a new home for 15k.

Its drivable, it was restored 20 years ago and it wasn't that great of a restoration. It needs to restored again. I'm military and its time to go. I just need to know if I'm getting a fair deal.

That's a lot of money for a C body, but it is well worth that. Sometimes it is time to go, good luck on your next assignment, from another Air Force Veteran.

Great car, based on your limited info I think you are getting a fair price. Good luck and thank you for your service.

She one of 12 that are made... she will need paint, all the panels will need to be aligned and chrome and metal work will need to be reworked. She needs to re-restored. Its RARE but not that desirable, I got a few every low offers.... But I never really advertised her. I just want to know if I'm giving her away.

At $15k people will scrutinize every square inch of it for present or past rust.
If it stands up to that, it's a fair price.
Welcome and thank you for joining us.
Hate to see you sell it, though.

Your car is a real beauty, welcome to the site from the Motor City! If you could let whoever buys it know about this site, I'd appreciate it. I would like to see more of it.

Welcome thanks for your service and if you can show some more pics of that car I like it

First off "THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE" :sFl_america2:

Welcome to the site, Would love to see more pictures of the 300 if possible.

I think what your asking for it is a fair & honest price.

If it's already sold, isn't it a little late to be worrying about how much you sold it for ?

I agree, he should have join this site sooner. Oh well good luck with the sale and thanks for your service!

It was a quick sale. I'm stationed on the other coast, so it was hard to be involved. I wanted 20k, but my bottom line was 15k and my father wanted it out of his garage. I could of got a few grand more... It was a decent price I got. I never really put any time into selling it, between the Navy and my wife I have no time. The car does need a lot of work. Ill get more pic soon.

I thought the same, 15K sounds like he did alright!

I agree and 15K sounds about right. With a not so good restoration 20 years ago the car would not be a 20K car any longer if it ever was to begin with.

Could you ask the new owner to contact us at the Chrysler 300 Club International. The other poster was correct they only made 12 of them as I have one. We know of a few more and keep a data base of all the letter cars. What does your car have as far as options? mine does not have air, and it is the same color as yours but with a black leather interior.
