Quiet...........Stan is in a Teamster's/FCBO Council meeting.

He's probably in concrete somewhere around Detroit. Matt, any idea where Hoffa might be hanging out??? That has to a reoccuring topic in local Detroit news.
My X was friends with Joe Jackaloney(sp) back in the day and it was a Jackaloney that was one of the others in the car with Hoffa at the Fox & Hound restaurant where he was last seen. I am convinced she knows something but could never get her to talk about it, she would just get uncomfortably quiet when I brought it up.

I have to dispute you.
Joe Giacalone was never there. The car used to take Hoffa away belonged to Joe Giacalone's son.
In the car was Chuckie O'Brian driving, Red Sheehan, and Savatore and Russel Briguglio.
Your ex-heard something from somebody who heard something from somebody, who heard something from somebody... and so it goes.
The record should be set straight once and for all.

Thanks for shedding some light, guess I never really cared enough to do anymore research. I still think she knew something though.

Now who was behind the Black Dahlia murder ?

Now who was behind the Black Dahlia murder ?

Actually I read all three books written about that, saw two documentaries, and umpteen TV programs about that.

It was the son of a mega-rich, well connected LA newspaper publisher, or Bugsy Segal....
The Chief of Police(or whatever title he had) that was in charge of the investigation was close friends with the publisher.
He gave his own detectives red herrings to throw them off the trail.

I enjoy documentaries, history, historical sites, Civil War anything, etc.....another reason I decided to retire in Maryland. I'm right in the middle of everything historical. And a huge number of race tracks.

I only know who the 2nd shooter was on the grassy knoll and no more.......

Read about this also or do you have a name that's not in the "Files". :)
Probably never know for sure in these cases.

a long way down from the top ....again, I was in the Teamsters union and all I knew was I wasnt making enough and had to pay dues for nothing in return

Well then, my apologies.

I consider myself to be a Libertarian as well but they are just as bad as the other two when it comes to compromise. If they would move their position about 7 ticks towards center they would gain a ton of support. For example, their platform includes the repeal of all drug laws. I don't think most Americans want that. Most people also want some regulation of real important stuff like food & drugs. The Libertarians support a basically unregulated free market & that's just not realistic since there are so many crooks out there.
