1965 Dodge Custom 880

The red '70 was my 1st Road Runner and 2nd car after my '68 300. During my freshman year in High School when I was 14, I saved 50 cents every day by just having a shake vs a full lunch. That following June I bought the Road Runner body for $50. Soon after I got a job and put a 440 in it and bought another '68 300 4drht and a '69 Road Runner by the time I was 16, and it became just shy of a bad habit buying countless old Mopars from that point

Nice habit to have. Do you still have all those nice RR's?

Actually I think I have sold and parted out over 150 vehicles in the past 20 years.

My Hemi Belvedere went to Iowa many years ago and still resides with the same person.

My red '70 RR went to Sioux Falls SD and the blue '70 RR went to Harlingen Texas, another K5 '70 RR was sold locally and a couple years later went to Sweden, and my black '69 GTX went to my cousin... Blue '68 Fury III to Wolf SD, maroon '68 300 to Minnesota, bronze '67 300 to Nebraska, etc...

I will be selling several project Bs and Cs and will likely redo/sell my B5 '69 4spd GTX, '69 Q5 RR, '69 Chg R/T, '70 Chg 500 and '70 Cuda for finishing my own projects, house or additional land money. Thinking if I can do 1 car a year besides work it would be a fair bonus.

My keeper list is... none of which are done... but I have all the pieces less 1 set of Hemi heads/intake etc.

'68 Chrysler 300 - 2drht PP1 red, 440, 3.23
'57 Desoto Fireflite - 2drht burnt copper/pearl white, 572 Hemi 2-4s, 4.10 Dana
'70 GTX - B7 blue or K5 brnt orange, 528 Hemi 2-4s, Auto, 3.54 Dana
'70 RR - K2 Orange, 440 6pk, 4 spd, 3.54 Dana
'39 Plymouth pickup, 318 5spd. 3.23

Here's my '70 GTX still about 90% original paint. Southern Colorado car, no quarters needed. I don't mind the F8 green, but I just missed a burnt orange '70 GTX from Santa Barbara CA years ago, and I never got over it, and I like B7 blue also, so I'm torn on the possible outcome.

Depends on the weather and the mood I am in. Last year the 71 saw ALL the action, this year the convertible is like Johnny Cash and has been everywhere man. I probably put seven tanks of fuel in the Convertible to half a tank in the 71.

Last year I put fuel in the convertible once before the winter, around November and that was it.

When it's not raining...I put on 7,000 miles on the NY'er so far this year.

Yes, but I'm going to go back to work in another month or so. I want more Chyrsler's before I hang it up for good.
