Only thing on the whole car I didn't replace was the heater core. I dint realise it was weeping into the passenger side floor. I have now fitted a repo one which seems to work ok. Not too bad for a repop but where it goes through the firewall needed just a little tweaking to get them straight. I have not really driven the car much although I have a couple of car runs coming up to get it out and about. Still a little hot in traffic so I've put a bigger radiator into the shop to get sorted. Hopefully it will be done early next week. I have picked up a 57 Belvedere for the next project.
You're a sick, sick man, Terry!! I love it and want to watch the new one also.

IMO, I would think a fan shroud would be a better option than a bigger radiator. You already have the thermo clutch and 7 blade fan.

Thanks mate, I am going to fit a shroud. The new radiator has the top inlet over on the passenger side. I’ve found a shroud to suit that set up.

Installed the other radiator last week, just waiting on the shroud to suit to arrive. Also resprayed the trunk lid. I had a few marks in it and I have not been able to sort it for the last yr while i recovered from shoulder surgery. I also had to replace the rear bar with my spare which I had in getting chrome plated. I backed into a pole the first week it was on the road.

I bought a radiator shroud from the US a few weeks back. I had to fabricate some mounting brackets and also decided to add 50mm to the ring section. Its certainly made a difference. Just standing in front now and you can feel the air getting sucked into it front. Hopefully give it a good run tomorrow.

Ive still been having issues with the fuel and temp guage. Turns out the fuel gauge resistor is stuffed. I had 4 spares and they are all crap. I am going to put the gauges into a local company here who restores vintage gauges. The temp seems to be running ok now since the shroud install. I also put a high flow thermostat in. I will install an overflow bottle at some stage. Ive also installed an aftermarket mechanical guage under the dash for the time being. I took the car out for a decent run last weekend and went well till I ran out of fuel about 2 miles from home. Of course no one was around to help out and I had my sick son with me which ruled out legging it to the local servo. Was not real sure what the issue was for a bit as I had thought I still had half a tank in it. Ended up having to tow it home.

Its a 1936. Local produced ute that has been sitting in a shed since last registered in 1951. Its going to be my work truck when I get time to sort it.

Gave the Plymouth it’s first hand polish the other day before taking it out for a run to the local drag meet. First time I’ve had it out for a month. I’ve only done 350miles since I got it on the road due to working on a new project. I really need to spend some time driving it.

Beautiful glad to see you take it out. New project?? With the detail you put in your Fury I would be interested even if it was a garden tractor.
