Hard to see, but this is an all original 65 300. Definitely a separate piece with lots of goop. @rexus31 probably has a good picture of the area.

Thanks, I can see the outline in the picture, I think since it can now be seen in multiple cars it is factory. I have already started duplicating them in the car i am working on. Thanks!

Very interesting - definitely confirmed it's factory, and yet only on the 300s, as my Monaco for sure does NOT have those.
