Hi Steve... I'm Jeff...

Relax, there's a small community here and the "inside information" that a new person sees is a bit misleading. We have a regularly used "Morons" thread for CL and EB ads that rub someone wrong... often related to price vs condition or marketing skills.

We do have a number of members who absolutely love their 66 300's... and you might find some of them will show up if you are asking for parts help in another thread. There is a fella in CA looking... but as you know, pictures would be the first step in getting interest.

Not to split hairs, but a "for sale" thread is supposed to include a price. If it helps, go high and expect to be negotiated with by a group of cheap folks who watch your car's value (I don't).

Also, FYI, an established member's car is seldom bashed in here. We do get a large amount of traffic from the folks who are just trying to sell, and too many of those at silly prices for the condition of their cars. So any jaded responses you've received, may have been about what you ad appears to be.... and no, of course we don't know anything about you... so try not to let it get personal.

Hi Steve,

A few things for you to consider:

1. When you're signed in, click on any other user's name to get to their profile and you can then search back through previous posts to get a feel for what warrants paying attention to. For some, it's always darkest right before it goes totally black.

2. The flame job you're receiving seems to be standard FCBO procedure for new(er) members. For me, it's a big waste of key strokes. If you come out the other side with all of your hair , your in.

3. There is definitely a lot of info to be shared here, you just have to learn how to filter out (or ignore) the noise and focus on the signal.

Hope the input helps, and good luck with however it plays out for you.

Good Morning Steve,
Sorry if my first post was kind of short about your 300. Their is a large group here who love them more than our wives, (keep that one quiet). We are all picture hounds, for those who's car are completed, (like Matt's "Goldie"), it is the ultimate bragging right. For those who's cars are not finished, (like mine), every time we see another one it is a shot in the arm to finish them.
You will also find that their can be some hard times trying to find parts for these lovely things, and you will pay dearly for that hard to find part, (I spent six years trying to find a tail light lens), but that just makes the drool factor more enjoyable.
Good luck with you baby, and welcome to the site.
Bill

I know was just wanted to know if there is any interest car

Final analysis of your epic fail here Steve.

You post a cryptic worded (most likely thumb typed from a phone with auto correct on) WIW (whats it's worth) message in the For Sale section.

So you should of posted in the General section as you really have nothing ready for sale.
