Near mint condition 1966 Chrysler New Yorker with 44K verified original miles. I paid 21,700 for it in 2023 and drove this elegant beauty from St. Louis to California via historic Route 66. It performed flawlessly in comfort, power and grace. AC is ice cold, and all systems work with the exception of the Auto Pilot. The car resides at our home in Morada, California near Stockton/Lodi and can also be viewed at our other home in Woodside near San Francisco Bay Area.

My grandparents had the 1966 NY 4 door sedan. Green over green cloth. I remember it well The 4 door hardtop iisss stylish. The sedan had the extra windows in the C pillars

Awesome! To me the New Yorker is iconic to the Mid-Century automotive style. Here are a couple of pictures from our Route 66 trip last year.

Did you stay at the Blue Swallow motel. If it is still an operating motel?

It's still an operating motel, however our friend that organized the trip likes to only stay in modern hotels. We stopped at most of the vintage motels and gas stations for photos only. We did make a point of having many of our meals along the way in the vintage diners, soda fountains and ice cream parlors.
