Starting bid is $1895. Not sure if there is a reserve or not, he didn't say.

Engine bay not looking too bad. Doesn't look too stripped. But looks like it's missing something under there to me. Like a radiator maybe? Hmmm....

Seats look OK, but it definitely needs a headliner. He says power windows not working.

Body, some bad rust spots in places. He says it needs a gas tank.

He didn't provide any pics of the undercarriage or trunk. Proceed with caution!

Damn...get the headliner and outer sail panels redone. Bang out a couple of minor dings. Wash and polish. Appearance-wise, it would look very presentable for a daily car. Gotta wonder if $1,250 might buy it?

Matt, come to the showroom, please....

Problem with this for me would be paying the back tags on it. Ten years out in OK on a car registered in OK (like this car) requires payment of penalties and back tags for two years, PLUS the current year registration, PLUS title, excise tax (3.5% of the purchase price, or what the State thinks it's worth, whichever is higher!!!) and fees. So, on this, it would be right at $450 to bring the tag and title up to date. A bill of sale is meaningless in Oklahoma. The State does not recognize them.

I looked at that car when it was for sale just outside Salisaw OK last year and could have bought it for 800.00. The problem is the car need EVERYTHING mechanically rebuilt as either nothing worked or had been messed with by someone that did not know what they were doing. The wiring is a MESS and has been cut and spliced in several places under the dash. The interior looks nice but the dash was cracked and the seats needed repaired as the stitching was coming loose in several places. I will be a really neat car but you would be so upside down in it you might as well spend 5K and get a car you can just drive right now.
