Interesting pics... Looks like he's advertising his photography service, so you'd think there would be more pictures of the car and less of the girl if they really want to sell it.

It looks nice in the pics and it is like the Chrysler in Goodfellas. The right mirror looks strange in that spot, but quite frankly, it is a very logical place for it rather than the almost worthless factory location.

Serious question... I was told years ago that cars rust and rot in Hawaii from the salt air. Is this true?

True on the other islands, and the closer you live to the ocean, truer. You can keep older cars, but have to go out of your way to wash off the ocean breeze. When you see cars older than 15, you know someone loved that car or they were brought in.
Salt can also affect your house. The big propane tanks go to rust in 3-5 years on oceanfront property. Aluminum windows corrode shut (or open).
Here on the Big Island we are safer as we can be as far as 26 miles from the ocean. Don't sound like much, but salt air is heavy. It doesn't like to go uphill, and two of our hills are over 13,000 feet ASL.

Wouldn't trade it for nothing.
Edit; didn't even notice that mirror. Whoops to distractions.

Between 1992-98 I watched a Chevy truck literally disintegrate from the top down on Anza and 19th in San Francisco. That is the Outer Richmond district and Anza points due west so the heavy fog rolls straight down all those similar streets. By 98 the cowl and A pillar were toast and the body looked like it had been shot over and over by a 12 ga. shot gun during those six years. You really need to keep them inside or thoroughly washed ever week.
