I talked to the guy via text. He bought it for the eng/trans and is parting the rest. Apparently it's wrecked on the passenger side. Doesn't look like much damage from the pics. Guess it's a parts car now...

He obviously doesent give a monkeys about the car why didn't he try to get it sorted instead of ripping out the engine and trans he probely stuck it in some pushy hot rod and put some flames on it I would kill for a motor like that

It sounds like he has no title, either. in an email he said he got it thru a Lien, so he must have bought it from a storage lot or something. he suggested that he could send me the vin#, to see if there is good title somewhere. Good luck with that, especially in California. Apparently
a parts car now. Too bad, it is.

I'm in the works on making a deal with him. It's kind of a long haul but should be worth it to get a rust free shell. No engine, trans or seats. It is a factory Power windows and A/C car. What a shame.
