I didn't mean the price. My wife explained the whole sniper deal to me.

I kinda get it but I don't really need to know & don't really care...

The real bids will happen in the last 15 seconds.

That's true. 5 hours to go until we get to the real bids. I'm really curious to see what an unrestored Mobile Director goes for.

What a "CROCK" of SHILL BIDDERS !!!! look at the Bid Retractions !!! :busted:

It looks like the current high bidder is genuine, and out of Germany, based on the bid history for that person.

SOLD!! for US $16,412.96

It jumped from $15,600 with 3 minutes to go to this right at the end.

$16,400. I hope it's a real bid. I mean, I wish Imperials were worth more, you know? But I'd like to see that bidding was real rather than just faked.

Getting back to my comments in another Imperial thread, I'm just really surprised at how cheap these things are. I'm not a Cadillac expert by any means, but I don't think there are any factory specials that would compare to the Mobile Director. Regardless, there's no way you could buy a 1967 Cadillac in that condition for anywhere near that money.

That went cheap, I thought it'd go over 20K...

If the ending bid is genuine (and not a friend of the seller) then we all must ponder what our cars real value is. Don't forget to adjust our opinion when looking at other cars offered for sale.

I don't particularly care what my cars real value is as I don't see ever wanting to sell it.
