1967 chrysler new yorker 2 door

Thanks for posting the pictures. It looks to be in decent shape.
2 door New Yorkers are very hard to find. You won't retire after selling it but it can be worth a fair price if you find the right buyer.

Looks like a fair amount of rust, I think there's probably more that we can't see. It would be a real beauty with that color combo if someone were to restore it. It would be nice to see it after a round with a coin car wash.
any pics of the interior?

ok guys I am in need of some info I hate to start taking this car apart and find out someone would of wanted it as for the inside it needs help black leather bucket power seats front and rear a/c power everything if if nothing before next week I will start taking it apart
thanks

You're confusing the flow through ventilation with rear A/C. Common mistake on the 67's.
AMHIK :D.

You say it's a bucket seat car?
I can use the rear seat trim panel.

:sixpack:

Car looks saveable. We've seen a lot worse come through. To the right person, someone could have a blast with it. Hell clean her up, get her running, and you got a fun daily driver.

Too far for me.. But am wondering what your asking for it?

Here in MN you could easily get $1500-$2500 for that not running. You should not smash it! I have smashed a couple old mopars in my derby days but they were either stripped or rusted out everywhere. The car looks complete so You NEED to do the classic car world a favor and try to sell it first. some kid might LOVE that to fix up with his or her dad and drive it to shows! I BEG you! Don't wreck it. Put it on craigslist or e-bay starting bid around $1000-$1500. someone would buy it. How much did you pay for it? use the money and find an 80's caprice and enter a 80s and newer derby or get a crown vic. everyone around here is using 2000s crown vic or lincolns and kickin *** with them. just have to take the aluminum engine cradle out and weld a older chevy one in. DON"T wreck that old Chrysler!!

Looks to me like its worth saving. If nothing else I can see a lot of parts. I hope he spares her. 40 plus y/o 2 doors are getting a we bit hard to find.

I have the same car,67 Nyer 2 Dr Fastop, and you don't see the 2 dr models that often in a NYer,most are Newports or 300 models. I think it should be saved, but I'm thinking he was just here to feel us out as to what it's worth, since he hasn't been around for awhile.

That car definitely needs to be saved. Don't derby it, that would be a travesty. Thousands of Ford Crown Vic's out there to trash....leave the Chrysler alone.

Hey fella's.......

He came to us to either sell the whole car which every one is saying it's a rare car and all it needs is a little work so why isn't someone stepping up and buying it???? I personally think it has too much rust and other problems that we can't see. He's also offering the parts to us. I commend him for stepping up and coming to us to offer parts. Is he making money......yes.......he's not a nonprofit! He is taking the time and going out and finding these cars before they go to the crusher or rust in to the ground.

Let's not run this guy off. He's reaching out to us. I would prefer him to offer whole cars or parts to us any day. So what if takes them to the derby....they were headed to the damn crusher anyways.

I agree with 1978 NYB. Regardless of his motive at least he offerd it up before he kills it. If no one steps up then who can blame him. It probably does have a lot of hidden rust & wear issues so if nothing else hopefully the parts get saved.
