I have also decided my New Yorker should go to a new home, as it has resided here since Around 1999. it has been in covered storage since then. I start it regularly, and it drives great. Good brakes, transmission, steering, etc. it needs a headlight switch, and I will fix that before it goes. The car has a floater type power steering pump, so it wobbles slightly. it has done it since the day I bought it. Some of the power window switches work, and some don't. I won't be fixing those for the sale. The radio has static, either the speaker or antenna. The car is original down to the Bias tires and hubcaps. The previous owner bought it in 1994, and sold it to me when he turned 85. I sold the car to a good friend in 2003, but it stayed with me in the shed, as he never had time to do anything with it. So, I was a Great babysitter! So I bought it back, because I'm a sucker for the four door hardtop slab side cars. Anyway, I think it's time. The interior is in excellent condition,as is the body. one small dent on the passenger side by the back Bumper. I have been under the car many times, and the car is as clean and rust free as it appears. it spent it's life in Western Nebraska.

I want $3,500 for the car, and I came within a whisker of repainting it and keeping it. But the 77' Cordoba showed up, so My attention has been turned. I love the car though, otherwise it would have never been here so long. I hate selling the 67-68's, but it is this one or the 67' HP440 Newport. And that isn't going to happen.

I will be more than a little sad when it does. I like that old beast. it is one of the smoothest C bodies I've had. The 440 just purrs. My favorite was my 71' new Yorker hardtop. I put 70,000 on that car in four years, carried four kids around the country in it. But this one could be a real find for someone wanting to take it to the next level. I'm thinking really hard about coming east with the Polara to meet all of you guys,. But You are a lot closer to each other than I am.

An honest and solid very desirable car.
And thank you for taking care of it in the interem.
That's how I see them anyway.

I like fusey and formal 4 doors, but this slab looks equally good in my eyes!

Makes me wish I was in the market...

Damn nice car! House & dog, house & dog, house & dog, house & dog, house & dog, house & dog, house & dog, house & dog, house & dog, house & dog, house & dog. Whew!, ok I'm good now, best of luck with the sale. I'm sure it won't take too long.

I like the color and interior. My late uncle had a '66 New Yorker that looks a lot like this one. His had the little windows in the C pillar, otherwise almost identical.

Those seats are VERY comfortable. We took trips across the mid-USA on interstates back in late '60s and early '70s. It was like riding around on your living room couch. :)
