Right lol...yeah sure I totally understand. Been on numerous cross country trips with unfamiliar cars. Overall, my experience is that people are generally upfront with known issues. Haven't been stranded yet! And I would consider a bit of oil consumption an expected reality with the original condition of your wagon.
