It's interesting that trucks were cheaper than the cheapest econobox car. Times sure have changed!

yeah, I assumed it was an absolute bare bones truck. My point is comparing to current economy/market - the cheapest, most stripped down, full size Dodge truck is about $10K more than a similarly equipped econobox car. Trucks used to be about function, now they're fancier (and more expensive) than luxury cars.
