I have a 66 Sport Fury Convertible. I put #2243 Chrysler 300 alloys from ~2004 on it. They are 17" x 7", they bolted on but may need an adapter to go from 4 1/2" to 115mm. Anyway, take a look. Pics are the going to the Upholsterer. By the way, 440ci w/727 trans, 1974 4 wheel discs, front and rear sway bars, all chrysler.
I have a set of the top wheels, which I took off a 1980 LeBaron T&C wagon several years ago. I love the looks of those! The set I have will get restored soon, and then go on my Country Squire wagon...yes, that's right! I hate the wire covers that came stock, and I have these wheels sitting around, so I'm gonna use them!
Thank you, I do understand the situation. A mm makes a BIG difference in lug nuts and wheel tightening. When I purcased the #2243 rims they were suppose to be 5 x 4 1/2. Then someone said they were 5 x 115mm. I'm pretty sure they are the latter, but have not seeh any definative information to prove either way. I will get the adapters when confirmed. I do appreciate the insights and information. They are great looking rims, and Chrysler's.You will absolutely, positively need adapters to run these safely!!! There IS a difference between 114.3 mm and 115 mm - enough to snap off wheel studs at speed! This is putting stress on just five points of the wheel, versus a correct-fitting wheel where each lug nut has equal pressure applied 360* in its seat.
