Not my car - H Code 4bbl from the factory. Haven't seen the car in person but spoke with owner east of KC MO. Sounds like trunk and quarters are rusted. He's trying to sell the motor and trans so maybe someone would like to take the whole thing off his hands.

1200 for that engine/trans seems a little steep -- unless you can hear it run and check oil pressure and compression.
But if it checks out good and just needs cleanup and gaskets? Not a terrible deal vs getting a rebuild.
If that were local, and it checked out good, I would've loved to put that in my 300L instead of the smogger 400 I had to use.

It's wearing a $100 air cleaner and $250 worth of exh manifolds.
