I saw Jimmy Addison run the Silver Bullet om Square Lake Rd. A couple of times. What a beast! A friend of mine built a "T" roadster with a Rat 427 built at Diamond engines, Actually beat Jimmy out there one night.
Home for the Silver Bullet was a Sunoco gas station on Woodward Ave owned and run by Jimmy. If the Silver bullet was in the lot, or on a trailer there you knew something was up. Usually a serious race. I'd park nearby and just wait. Jimmy didn't like the attention, so one had to be discreet.
