There used to be a gentleman in the town I grew up in who was very successful and always bought a new car every year. Always a large loaded sedan.
He would pay extra for non recommended color combinations because he was sort of color blind and he wanted what looked good to him and wasn’t buying for others.

I'm kind of jealous that you used to be able to select the interior color.

handshake deal made, cash to be exchanged for title next few days, good seller ... looks good to go for transport real soon. thx jeff for helping.

That's awesome. I would have predicted a sure death for this one. Good on all three of ya.

Of course, it would still get a color change if it was mine.

thx Carmine.

hey we can have some fun with this ... i like surveys

my plan is 'as born". dark green & turquoise, drop correct year mill in her, park it next to my triple black '67 CC.

carmine says heck no ..something's gotta go ... but what would be the color plan?

thoughts from others? what do you go with for colors?

lets play nice please ..its just for fun.

thx.

I think you need to keep that unique combo, but if you change one, be sure to keep that awesome green interior!

Congrats!
I’ll need some time on the whole color thing but if the interior is nice I’d be inclined to not change it. I know I couldn’t do the turquoise over green though.

these color combos in a few of my cars are factory .. people either love 'em or hate 'em but I'd never change them.

yall know this car. it now has a black, high back seat interior i picked up summer 2016 (detmatt gave me a CL Detroit lead for a complete interior that was almost perfect).

Car started brown (CT6), it was black when I got it with original off-white (V1T) interior shown, and a 360 (E57). Its a 440, thumpin' dual carb rig now. 3.23 SG, .. fun car.

Dunno guys .. original color KK1 on this 67 with black interior is cool looking .. but maybe the green will do ok when the car is the proper color again. BUT, maybe not. I'm stickin' with as born in any event :) Thanks for your inputs.

Very glad to see this is being saved! I was browsing some other 68 Imperial ads, it's too bad this seller's phone number wasn't saved because I'll bet it's still available...this blue interior would look great swapped into yours!

deal's done. car awaiting pickup sometime in next three weeks. No more updates to come .. until its back on the road sometime within the next 12 months.

An aside -- somebody wrote me about this car and they want it AND the powertrain I have. He offered a fair price, but I aint a flipper so I declined the opportunity to sell for the shameless and most selfish of reasons -- I wanna be the one to put it back on the road and tool around in it for a while. :)

thanks for the hookup jeff. your buddy is a good guy.

Glad it worked out! Too bad the other 80 cars in his barn are all GM.

I can forgive the Chebbie thing .. i have a few as well :). I respect all collectors who are passionate about their "old iron" .. no matter the brand. I dont care what vehicle technology/styling comes next in my lifetime, aint nothin' gonna be cooler to me than the stuff I grew up on.

thx guys.

I don't have anything against them either, but I would be more excited about the barn tour if it was full of Mopars.
