Mine looks like the first photo, but mine has holes for clips to keep it in place. Who has these available?
From that thread, Detroit Muscle Technologies has the spash shields, but I think they show the wrong patterns. This is what they show for 65-68:

The shields that I had on my '67 Monaco matches what they show for 69-71. I think you also confirm that for your '68 Newport.

I purchased the ones for 69-71 for my 1968 Newport and they are the wrong ones. The photo that Detroit has on line for 65-68 is hard to tell, but I don't think they look correct. Any Suggestions? Does anyone else sell these splash shields? Thanks!
You bought the ones for 69-71 - and? Did they look like the ones on the DMT web page?
I'm in the same boat. I've tried looking for just the material but can't find any source for it to cut my own. My old ones ('67 Monaco) look like the 69-71 DMT and I might have to buy them too, so I'm curious what you got and why they're wrong.

Yes, I purchased the 69-71 and they looked like the photo on their web page but they are too large. DMT will refund my money this time, but they probably won't if I purchase the 65-68 and they don't fit. I don't have a pattern to go by because my old ones are gone. However, if I could find the rubber I would try to cut them to fit. By the way, the material from DMT is nice thick rubber, much better than the originals. They even provided the clips to install. Any suggestions?
I can measure my old ones tomorrow and post the results here tomorrow evening. So don't send them back yet until you compare them to my measurements.
