I had a silent and nice exhaust system but couldn`t resist taking a closer look at it.
The resonator was surprisingly good , the forward end plate needed some work and the belly was opened since it had a couple of pin holes.
I am going to used it since it is probably a correct resonator for that car , it would be interesting to know when it was assembled on the car.
The over axle located hanger is surely the one assembled on the factory. It needs new rubbers and will get them. Odd that the rubber straps have a white surface vulcaniced on.
The pipe over axle was thin so I build a new one from 90 and 60 turns and some cutting and welding.
Does anybody know what the letter"K" on the resonator stands for? I suppose the 9 67 means manufactured 9 month 1967..
Is this type of clamp the correct one?
