I think that's a third yellow car. The one in Jersey had fog lights bolted to either the bumper or the grill filler panel. I have pics of that one on my old Windows XP computer. I'll see if I can get those over to this computer in the next day or two.

That's cheap money on that one, unless the *** end is rusted off.

Yeah, get those files transferred over! Would be cool to see how they compare.
I presume the yellow one I posted was a roller, due to the word 'was' about its drivetrain. Entry price was cheap, yes.

Well, it looks like the Jersey car and the Massachusetts car are one in the same. You can see they both have a second pin stripe just above the lower body line, they both have a dent in the driver door and the scrapes on the edge of the fender extension are identical. The fog lights must be the clip-on type, as I don't see any holes in the bumper or grill filler panel. I had expected this car to go to a good home considering it was bid up to 5 grand back when C-Body prices were significantly lower than they are now. Kind of surprising (and disappointing) to see that someone ripped out the drivetrain and dumped it.

This does solve the mystery of the restored yellow car. That one was obviously a second yellow 4 speed car. Although I never saw a fender tag pic for this car, it's pretty safe to assume that it is an original 4 speed, as it had been sitting for around 20 years in the chicken coop. Some one just replaced the inland with a pistol grip, which was a pretty common procedure, since so many people didn't like the inland. So we'll call it two more-or-less confirmed '67 300 4 speeds spotted so far.

Yes, I'd agree that is the same car as the one I posted, the fender extension scratches look the same.
How funny, so rare for a 67 300 4spd and we've 'found' 2, and both are yellow!
Whomever yanked the drivetrain ruined a car that was prob 1 of 5. But in reality, they prob sold the drivetrain for more than the car was worth and cloned a NOM musclecar, so I guess it's understandable it would happen. We can only hope they find out one day what they had and did to it.

That's not correct. You could get a 4 speed in 1967, but not '66 or '68. Super, super rare, but there are a few 4 speed '67 300s out there.
Chrysler should have given you the option to get 4 speed in a 300 or even a Newport post 68 I know you can get a 3 speed on the tree on 69 maybe even 70 and Hurst should have put 4 speeds in the 70 300 how cool would that have been

They probably would have if enough people had ordered the four speed in '67, but hardly anybody did. Chrysler didn't hide the option either, it was prominently mentioned several times in the 1967 sales brochure.
