Its not, I like it for what it is, C body, convertible, 440, buckets, original........ Its pleasing to the eye...

Hunter Green is a restful color. Reminds me of a dense forest in Vermont on a bright and clear July day.

"Hunter" Green is a color that goes back centuries with New England Yankees. Just like Barn Red, Colonial White, Nantucket Gray, etc.

Hello
Just looking through some old posts about the car. I purchased the car over the phone for 10,500. The car was in good shape but a little tired. I rebuilt the motor, tranny. recored radiator, there was quite a bit of bondo in the quarters and inside section was rotted I put new quarters on, small hole in floor but otherwise solid. I completely redid the interior seats, door panels ,dash pad, armrests, seats, capeting etc. I am in the final stages of repaint GG1 the correct color. All the emblems, grill, headlight bezels, trunk finish panel, are all nos. rechromed the bumpers. I polished out all the stainless. If I told you how much I spent you probably would never hear of me again (wife). It is a car exactly like my fathers friends and I have a lot of good memories and have loved 68 sport furies since I was a child. Financially not a good investment but definitely a great investment in happiness. Hopefully I will never have to sell. I have to get pictures together and post them. This forum has been invaluable in helping along the way. Thanks Frank

Aargh!

No pictures saved of the car from the original ad. Now that is a bummer.

Will look forward to what has been done.
