i think i just hit enlightenment. the members here that are old enough to remember these cars on the road when they were in production like to see them as remembered - as stock - as original, etc.

i cannot explain the other population, only that i am part of it :)

i see a hot rod. i dont see a stock ride. like look at a merc cougar, looks like *** stock. put some big ol meats under it, some cragars or ansen mags, get the *** end up on some hijackers and ladder bars, now it looks like fkn death rider with a motor. love it.

i dont know what to say to the purists :)

this car is the kickass

I see a bunch of half-*** workmanship, flash over substance, priorities out of order.

Amazingly, I just reeled off what I don't like about many people!

I can deal with mods from stock. This car is barely a Dart anymore, but you can't touch the quality of the work.

Well, get rid of the hood scoop and audio junk, and get nicer wheels and it should be ok.

Should be displayed outside Cochrane Dodge - Don't let your car end up like this, come in and let us do it right.

We have one outside already but it says "You wish you were this cool"

I just can't picture a big a-- scoop poking out of my hood. I like to keep all my motor work under the hood. Keep'em guessing. I have totally lost count on how many people thought I had a 440 under the hood

Your welcome to come down anytime...we like our classics kinda like this poor fellows car

There's something fishy about that intake set up! There's no bolts bolting it to the heads and the throttle linkage is dangling off the valve cover!
