are you set on a 2dr?

Thanks guys.. although it does not seem like the seller is very keen on doing anything but a "show and sell" kind of a sale, so it probably stops right there.. Unless there's a kind member in the area, who is willing to do the trip, and get some more info.

I never understood that "no pictures / minimal communication mentality".. thus obviously loosing substantial profit, in exchange of having maybe half the communication, and not having to "shoot shoot shoot ~ upload upload upload".. But lets face it.. it's a MUST when selling a car.. With all the variables in such a deal.. condition, color, equipment, options and so on.. one got's to do the pictures, and suddenly one got's a 10 times better chance of selling fast and at the best possible price!

BTW: His answering machine said "KJSKJSDHF (something) Lawn care".. so maybe it's a car he spotted on a property while "lawning", and could be selling for the lawn owner.. but, as one of my favorite sayings go: "Assumption is the mother of all f*ck-up's", so unless he forks over some info and pictures, I guess we'll never know..

As for now, Kasper from Denmark is VERY sad !
(and his money is right back on Carsten's black beauty :-D )

are you set on a 2dr?

Well.. in a perfect world, I would be set on owning both.. a "set" from each of the fuselage years :-D.. but in order to keep the wife from overheating and spinning out of control, it'll be ONE coupe.. (but I was still following the fine black 4-door on eBay).

The perfect Imperial for me, would be a fine condition '70 coupe, with black bucket interior, and preferably in black or white exterior.. but other colors will do, although I am not a huge fan of brown card, and tan and blue interior, but it's not the right decade to be picky!

:-D

Three pages on a car that we don't even know what it looks like.

Well.. it probably didn't look THAT bad, as the ad has been "deleted by author", so it probably sold ! I sincerely hope, that it went to a good loving home / owner, and I am glad that I didn't allow myself to get TO excited :-(

This 72 is for sale. As well as a 74 "anniversary" edition coupe, (one of 57), and a rough 64 Convertible near me.

The owner has decided he has too many cars and wants to thin the herd. I'm going to meet him, hopefully this Friday, and get details .... like how much.

The black 72 is a really decent car that needs TLC. I haven seen the 74 yet. I'll post the info, pictures and prices once I get them.

Thanks a lot for posting.. Somehow, I missed this until now.

If this was a 69-71, I would jump right on it.. (or rather "IN" it :)

Did you get a price (for the '72?).. It looks a bit lonely... and unloved... and HUGE :-D

I too would like more info on this 72 Imperial. I like the color combo and looks ok bodywise. Mechanically what is the story with this? What about price and location? Thanks
