Found this on craigslist...drive-train is gone..
A clean rolling shell, no rust with 69,000 miles. Car is missing motor, tranny, radiator, and driveshaft otherwise complete. Would make a nice driver, have title. call Greg (612) 986-5594

Make a nice driver? Without the engine, trans, radiator and driveshaft?

If it was nice why take it apart?

Someone took (stole) the drive-train out of the Imp for their E or B body project most likely. However, would not be that hard to find another motor/trans/drive shaft and get the girl back on the road...and the body doesn't look too bad.

I just hope I do not see it on some youtube derby show.

I'm sure, so then why not find that drive line for the B or E and and leave a nice car like this alone. I must read 10 threads like this every year

These people are unable or can't appreciate cars like this, just another comfy barge with a 440 to them. I'm thinking about installing a viper alarm sometime down the road.

:angry4:That just about makes me sick seeing the nose of that flagship of the fleet in the air! Some people will destroy a perfectly good car just to get that date coded motor and trans(shame on you A,B,E, body people) who do this!

Amen, they all should be banished to Car Craft hell for an eternity plus a century or two.

Worst of it is, thats likely what he paid for the whole car. Now he`s trying to get a free motor and trans!:buttkick:

How do you think the RV afficianados feel when we rape and pillage their RV's for their 440's...:D
It's all part of the food chain.
Not that I agree with it....

I dont see guys yanking engines out of RV's every day and yes it is different. There are minimal people if any one at all restoring a vintage 1973 Winnebago in which case he needs his head examined anyway.

Ever tried to get the motor out of one? Not fun expecially if the dude says you can have it but it has to stay on the blocks under the frame that it is sitting on in the campground! All that work and it wasn!t even a 440. A 1964 413?!
