we have a white CV in germany since many years (in Bavaria).There was a red HT on craigs many years ago as well as another white one in Ohio discussed in the drydock years ago.

I am not aware of any Spring Special 1969 Chryslers that had a side decor looking like the Sportsgrain option.

The Sportsgrain option was a carryover from 1968 and was available from the beginning of the 1969 model year on. It was offered only on entry-level Newport two-door hardtops and convertibles (read: CE23 and CE27). The option also included the woodgrain appliqué between taillights.
