This is one of the desirable 1969 Imperial coupes. It sure looks rode hard though, especially the body and attendant rust in the quarters, rear roof, sills, etc. and it is telling that the seller doesn't show the driver seat, but all the other positions. I have my doubts.

Still Beautiful in my eyes. Werent there only like 250, Two doors made in 69?

Is that rear seat with folding center Imperial only? Or does C-bodies have those also?

I like it but yes, it's rusty. Obviously a MI car...
Love the color combo although I agree with Dave on the white interior, either that or black.
Maybe the miles are correct and it was only driven in the winter.:poke:

Chryslers had the rear fold down armrest too.

judging by the rust and pitting inside, the car has sat somewhere very damp for a long time. explains the electrical problems.

There isn't one tiny part left on that car that is usable as is.
When even the shift lever is toast, welll.... good luck.

no one likes dark blue.
No one.
really not.
Glad it doesn't have a blue v-roof otherwise I would have hit the BIN button.

Dark blue might be my color of choice for one of these if I were ordering one, that or silver.

But that is one of the reasons I bought my 69 Coupe - with a matching dark blue vinyl top and white leather bucket seat interior. I am sure you remember! :)

Does anyone know if StitcherBob from the old MoparFins forum still has his deep blue Imperial coupe?

I dropped the production numbers out of memory, hit pretty close on the Crown Coupe, but totally missed on the Le Baron figure. Sorry for that. The correct numbers are
244 2door Hardtop Crown Coupes produced in 1969, and 4572 Le Baron 2d Hardtops:

1969 Imperial Facts and Figures

(I originally got my figures from the 1974 George Damman book "Seventy Years of Chrysler". You can still get that one, for ex. here: Amazon product ASIN 0912612061)

your production number for the LeBarons does only incude the US shipments.

my number is including the Canadian cars.
Cars built for export is an unkown number unfortunatly.

I went back to check the Dammann book. The numbers I quoted out of memory were '70 production numbers. Sorry about that.
P. 369/382; "The Imperial Crown Coupe... Only 254 were built..." and "...Le Baron Coupe... A total of 1,803 left the factory."

For 1969 Damman says (p. 364/382): "...since the Le Baron package was not considered a separate series this year, its production numbers were included in the 4,816 Crown and Le Baron coupes that were built. In Le Baron form, with vinyl top, it cost $5,898 and weighed 4,610 pounds..."
