That is beyond ugly, perhaps super ugly. He ordered that car or was forced to take it at gun point?

He had this bias towards grassy green, he got talked into red but he changed the order to green shortly before the car's build was scheduled. I still own it with the original plates, after 35 years people are a bit kinder to the car and its color combo. US-servicemen as 1978 NYB liked snapping these up when they bottomed out pricewise, especially the higher performance sixes, excellent drivers but highly taxed for domestic used car buyers due to missing catalytic converter.

Heck Ya!!! They were cheap, plentiful, and a straight six would go 190 kph (@120 mph) on the autobahn all day long. Parts were cheap over there too!!!!
