1969. The Jet won the Super Bowl. The Mets won the World Series. Men walked on the Moon! Oh, wait, scratch that last item: http://lewrockwell.com/reynolds/reynolds23.1.html But this LeBaron is the real thing. I purchased it in 2011 from Mopar collector Donald E. Nonnweiler of Defuniak Springs, FL. He had acquired the car locally from the estate of the previous owner, USAF Master Sargeant William Alexander Wells, Jr. This is what I have repaired and up-graded: 1) Up-grade to electronic ignition. ...

Man I HATE seats with no headrests....and that just doesn't seem right in a 69' Chrysler Imperial.

I've seen a couple of Imp's without headrests and believe they had to been ordered that way. I don't like them without headrests either.

maybe that's an early '69 car, headrests weren't mandatory til Jan 1, 1969, iirc

Is that a question or a statement?
That would be a statement. Kinda like the straight column too, it is standard unless the little box for tilt a scope is checked. Love the jade green, too bad it didn`t have black guts like the one I have for parts. Picture 003.jpg

All you need is a train in that photo and you'd have all the longest modes of transportation known to man.

Well, the bid ended at $3550, it didn't sell on EBay. He wanted $8000 for it. Remember he said he wouldn't say what the reserve was on this car... it's $6000 now.

Given the rate of this bargaining it ought to be at 2 grand in a month
