well, perhaps I should save the trip then.......I highly doubt he will take $7500, and the only other option right now is 15K (unless i decide to pick up a cougar or something!)

actually it's closer to 16K to get it back here.

No, you gotta go and see what it is. If you dont you will look back and say "I should have".

I guess so.......too bad the red one isn't cheaper

and look at the pic of the left frame rail........looks like a small hole in it near the top

Its not going anywhere....its yours for the taking, save some money for the next six months

that's the same car, guy just has it @ his house in NJ now.......it has deteriorated a bit since then, for instance it sat outside all winter a few yrs ago, plus it needs a top now, is not worth anywhere near that asking price from back then.
It's been for sale all these years by this one guy??????
Then it's not really for sale. He's fishing. He'll die still owning that car.

Stan, there is NO market for these cars except for over seas. He's not gonna give it away and he doesnt need to sell

I would go look at the car and show him the cash in your pocket to let him you are serious. He may not sell it today but let him know your offer decreases as so does the condition of the car. Eyeballing the cash always works wonders.

Dons in no hurry to sell the car. He enjoys driving it. He is not hurting for money either......which is why he has been able to turn down offers

What is he asking for it? I don't see more than $7500 in the current condition.

There's probably some out there (off shore) tht will give him $9500 for it.
