$100,000 into it and he wants 60 grand out of it. He picked the wrong car to throw buckets of cash at. He must have hated his parents to blow his inheritance on that thing.

Original Victoria BC car,....( condition 99.9%)... (badges and new side markers are fitted now). This is a very reluctant sale as I have invested over $90k+...Insurance appraisal is $90k USD.

No sales reps... Thanks for looking.

Price: $59,700

The seat looks very far forward. I wonder if the owner is that short? He still digs his 8 tracks though!
This car would present a lot better if it was painted an original color imo..

Really awesome car (color not withstanding), I just don't see a way the seller will squeeze that much juice out of it.

He would have to put that drivetrain in a B or E to get any money out of it. Find a 383 and a 727 to put back in this this car.

Yea, I made that mistake before ... Not to the tune of 90K but I sunk a pretty good chunk into my first Monaco. I'd have been far better off to save the car the 440 and disk brakes came from, kept the Monaco and it dead stock... and would have been the happy owner of two really awesome C Bodies.

I have sunk a big chunk of cash in my 78 NYB full well it still wouldn't be worth anything.

In my mind I have a 69 RR.....with different sheet metal. LOL. It's just a car that is a lot of fun to drive.

That's pretty much all that matters. I think about what it would have been like to have my old Monaco AND the donor car but hell, I wouldn't have kept both and I wouldn't trade the cross country drive in that Monaco WITH that 440 for anything.

Let's see now...
66 Fury 440 4 spd... Took it up the keister on that one.
76 NYB 440 4 spd... Lost my shirt
67 Newport Fast Top... Ditto plus my underwear.
76 NYB... I don't wanna talk about it.
That's only in the last 15 years.

Bet it's a hoot to drive! But not willing /able to get anywhere near that asking price....
Dared to be different, I'll give him credit for that!
