I like the car, the skirts and the wheels could stay, although I'd eventually get sick of them and have to change them out to something else that wasn't correct.

Skirts are for girls, the two things I don't like with American car options of the era are these and the vinyl tops I already mentioned before.

Have you seen a Formal NYB without skirts? IMHO, it just looks wrong 2 door or 4 door without skirts.

Thought about that the minute I posted it, they are designed with quarter panels that require the skirts as an integral part, exception to the rule. Like the Fuselage design better in general though.
One more thing I don't like which came to mind are optional Continental kits.

I agree with Bob. I hate continental kits and can't remember any car where it looks good

Well, the recall wheels were an option for a short time. But I thought the style now referred to as road wheels didn't begin until 1970?

In 69 the "recall wheel" was called the road wheel...code W23. Only the muscle car idiots in later years came up with the catch tag "recall wheel" to try and make cars seem more rare and desireable to charge ridiculous amounts of money. The 16 slot road wheel was available from 70-81 and also was code W23.

'68 & prior the Magnums are Road Wheels, '69 Recalls are Road Wheels, '70 & up the 16 hole's are Road wheels.

BUT the B and E body guys call the Magnums, road wheels regardless of the year...... while not knowing our wheels exist

Yep, those were referred to as Magnum wheels on my 69 Super Bee.
