Looks original to me......
What will be the highest bid......?

This is a $1500 car at best!

It IS a CHP "package" car.

It was NOT used by the CHP

It is most likely a Santa Clara County Sheriff car.

Other agencies would buy cars from the CHP and use them.
This car doesn't have some of the markers needed to authenticate it as a CHP used car. The placement of equipment varies from agency to agency.

I'm 100% sure this was not used by the CHP, even if it was the price still be $1500-$2500

Now I would love to have this car and restore it to as-delivered to CHP, black and white with no equipment and hubcaps in the trunk.

It would be a worthwhile project for someone. Imagine the floors and trunk are pretty crusty under those mats.

I hope that reserve is high enough to fend off the blumo crowd, but then again that's a better alternative to harvesting the motor for that slanty dart rusting away in someone's yard.

It states that it runs and stops so my prediction is $3500. Especially if its description is accurate and honest.

someone on moparts brought up a good point, would this car maybe have H code rims? Is 312 March 12th for a build date? That would put it right into A12 area and having to replace a set of H codes on my A12 you see how STUPID priced they are.

The A12 guys are as anal as you can get! If you have the wrong headed nut on the car they can pick it out!! I am not quite that bad but when it comes to a piece that was on all A12's like the H code wheels I had to get the right ones back on the car.

Does anyone know if any C bodies actually came with H code wheels in 69? I know they all get moved around on cars anyway when tires where changed but I have always been on the lookout for some of them on a C body.

Yes, wagons, police, taxi.
