My "Dodge" trunk emblem is broken in half, I was wondering if it's the same as the one for the Dart and Coronet, which are available new. They look almost exactly the same

This would be easy to determine in the Chrysler factory parts manual. The page format is each to read, parts group and description in the lh column, part numbers in the rh column, and the various models listed across the top of the page, with the quantities used per vehicle under them. If one part is used on different platforms, easy to see it in that format.

Download the manual at www.mymopar.com . Illustrations of the exterior trim and badging in the rear sections.

Sometimes, things that look very similar are not, being shorter or longer, depending on several factors, by observation. Even if they might be considered "the same".

Enjoy!

There are two that look EXACTLY the same, the only difference is the pins. The Polara uses the one with the smaller pins

This is the one I got for my 69 Polara and it is PERFECT

Ok dumb question but how do you get to the pins? There doesn't appear to be an opening inside the trunk lid, at least on mine
They press into friction fit barrel clips.
Very carefully pry the emblem up moving back and forth at the three pins.

If the emblem is on the car the clips are under it.
The clip is like a tiny sleeve that goes in the hole first then you press the emblem into them.
The original ones were maybe 3/16" long.
If you pulled the emblem then they are either on the emblem or in the hole.
