Here is rare Mopar that you don't see very often. A 1969 Plymouth Sport Fury with only 366 miles. Although this rare car has incredibly low miles. It was unfortunately stored in not the most ideal conditions. Probably a damp cold location for very quite a few years. Although this car is very solid it does have some mild surface rust, and one small bad spot on the trunk lid. From what have been told about the history is that the owner of the dealership kept this car for many years and probably never titled it. Then at some point someone purchased it and stored it in not in the most ideal location, but never drove it. The past 15 years or so it was stored in a dry warehouse in Peoria, Ill. It's all original, except for 3 out of 4 tires. The left rear is the only surviving tire, except the never used spare. It also has the original dual exhaust system, except for one tailpipe is missing. The interior is like new except for a split on the drivers seat at the seam. There doesn't appear to be any dents, and the all original paint shines very nice. The 383 Super Commando runs and drives like new. I'm not sure what else to say about this car. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Note: The title say it has 400 miles, not 366. Also, If it meets the reserve and sells. I will be out of town from February 15 to the 22. So it will have to be picked before or after those dates.

From what I've been told that "story" ads up to nothing w/o some paperwork

I'm a little skeptical about the mileage but a very nice car none the less

Although it has all the correct fasteners and hose clamps that could be 100,366.6 and the second owner bought the car from the original owner who may have bought a car that was swapped from dealers before first sale (hence 400 miles on title) and when second buyer bought it convinced DMV it was a low mileage original.

Small towns can lead to friendships at many places incl DMV.

And maybe either the person typing up the original bill of sale was lazy and typed 400 miles or the original DMV clerk type 400 instead of 366 or whatever thinking it of no importance as who in their right mind would by a car and never put another 34 miles or whatever on it.

There are other possibilities that could explain a car having 400 miles on the title ... maybe the second owner and this owner never registered the vehicle etc. So yes the original title says 400

That's what I saw Bryan but the seat is the smoking gun. It's a hundred thousand mile car that was well cared for then suddenly neglected

another shot of that seat .. if it were an original low miles car do you think that seat could have been weakened by drip rot and split when someone sat in it?

Carpet does look nice an may be original .. note what appears to be mold in the rear pass area

This filter could have come from anywhere but also could have come from this vehicle even if it were a 100K mi car if that was racked up over 3-5-6 years and the owner always had it serviced at a factory dealership. I don't know what year this specific filter is from but would be in the appropriate period I think.

Too many Details that Point towards more use than just the triple Digit mileage, door lock bolt on the b-pillar just as one example, many Stone Chips along the lower splash lines. I'm with Dave in this case, while not completely ruling it out. Probably the mileage was racked up in few years at the beginning of ist life, then stored for a Longer period.

This way or the other suspected mileage in this case would have no effect on my pricing, just take the Overall condition into account.

It is a great car and H 383-4 to boot.

I'm not down on the car .. just skeptical but would be just as happy if the story is true .. or not. It's nice car

The main thing that makes me skeptical is the intake .. not rusty as it would be if paint had flaked off over the years due to poor paint quality, but it's oily and the inner fenders coated with a film of oil mist and grime / dust cycles that I would say occurred over many miles not 366.6 IMHO

I'll also bet the engine bay has been steam cleaned so that amount of grime is left after that if so and could explain the engine having almost not paint left on it .. and I don't think the water pump housing would be complete devoid of paint w/o more miles or at least a steam clean

Its good to see that you guys are already flying the B.S. Flag, it saves me the trouble.

But we're not discussing Prices, we'll leave that to you. ;)

My take:
1. Too many OEM parts that would be history by now had the odo rolled over
2. Too much wear for 400 miles.
3. The original owner disconnected the odo after getting home from the dealer.
Most of us did that back then. This one stayed disconnected too long making it unrealistic from either angle thus the original choice to decieve backfired.

Had they reconnected it at 35k, few of us would be questioning it.
From what have been told about the history is...
A bs disclaimer if I ever heard one. "Told"...

I almost never discuss price unless the asking is actually fair, in which case I'll say something like "and the price is even fair!".

It's in Cleveland.... we have members there
I was just there last week! I could have inspected it!

It sure doesn't look like a 366 mile Fury...
possibly a 100,366 mile Fury but not a 366 mile Fury... but that is my opinion on the deal

That odometer has been around the block once, or disconnected as stated. The car displays all the characteristics of being driven for a long time.
As for the oil filter being original..... not. It would be painted engine color as they were installed before the engines were painted.

The engine on my 90k Polara is cleaner than this. In 2009 when I got it the car still had its original spark plug wires, factory belts, lower radiator hose.

5 minutes under the hood and I'll tell you if it is a LOW mile car, what I see here I doubt it.
